Welcome to Quinta Falcões do Sol. By booking your stay through our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern your use of our services and your stay at our property. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
2. Booking Process
- Guests can book their stay directly through our website. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment as outlined in our Payment Policy below.
3. Payment Policy
Credit Card Payment:
- Guests opting to pay by credit card must pay the full amount at the time of booking.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon successful payment.
Payment at Arrival:
- Guests opting to pay at arrival must transfer 50% of the total booking amount as a down payment.
- The remaining balance is due upon check-in.
4. Cancellation Policy
Credit Card Payment:
- Guests may cancel their booking and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made within 14 days of booking, provided that the check-in date is more than 30 days away.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 14 days of booking or within 30 days of check-in.
Payment at Arrival:
- The 50% down payment is non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Guests who cancel their booking will not be required to pay the remaining balance.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability
6. Property Rules
- Guests must respect the property, neighbors, and local regulations.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
- Pets are allowed for an additional fee of €5 per day. A refundable deposit of €200 is required for guests bringing pets. This deposit will be returned after the stay, provided no damage or extra cleaning is required.
- The maximum occupancy of the property must not be exceeded without prior approval.
- Any damage caused by guests will be charged to the responsible party.
7. Accessibility
Please note that our property features traditional stone pathways and steps, which may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility or small children. Guests are advised to consider this before booking.
Please note that the driveway leading to the property is very steep and may not be suited for weaker cars.
8. Liability
- Quinta Falcões do Sol is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during your stay. Guests are advised to secure their belongings and exercise caution on the property.
- We are not responsible for disruptions or cancellations caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or government regulations.
- The property owner is not responsible for circumstances beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, power outages) that may affect the guest’s stay.
9. Privacy Policy
- Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for managing your reservation and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
- By booking with us, you agree to receive emails related to your stay.
10. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of significant changes via email or updates to our website.
